  Had a charlton 33 built. staff had no communications stuff was not put into contract/build like i asked. ended up using lawyers to chase the stuff missing. they added walls where there wasn't meant to be. tiles uneven. insulation bats in roof missing.outdoor kitchen made of chipboard not brick like i asked it is now swollen and falling apart. taps and gas line missing from outdoor kitchen. outdoor power points not sealed. paid $10,000 for landscaping and was told that incl the backyard once finished found out that they don't do back yard and the landscaping they did would of cost $1000 at most. my advice is don't use their landscaping and also as i did even tho its a new well known builder use private building inspector it actually saved me due to stairs was not screwed in properly and power point not seal plus he pick up so much more. also do not pay last cheque until you go through it with fine comb as once you finish all payments its very hard to get them for warranties issues. im getting close to 12mths and still struggling to get things they have forgotten or need repairs. and also if you receive random phone calls telemarketing stuff porter Davis actually hand your number out as i found out off one.
